I’m jealous of all the people who are at the animation festival in Annecy right now. Not because the Dutch weather is this lousy -although that certainly doesn’t help much- but because they get to see Disney’s new short Paperman (dir. John Kahrs), which looks amazing!

I love summer the best. In honor of sunny days, warm weather, and especially water sports, I made this poster. Sometimes I get a little bit homesick for days on the lake, and especially for skiing. There is nothing quite like early mornings on glassy water, and I’m counting down the days until my annual visit home :)

I have always been a sucker for film poster-art, so I’m having a lot of fun following Midnight Marauder. That guy sure knows how to design a film poster!

What I like most about his work is that he really manages to get the film he is doing a poster for. This poster for Manhunter (great film, check it out!) is a good example of this. The poster really suits the 80’s feeling of the film, and is amazingly awesome at the same time!
